I did a 2 week long externship at County Line Veterinary Clinic during my fourth year of veterinary school. I truly feel that this externship was the best rotation throughout my entire fourth year. I was able to stay with Dr. Fowler and her husband at their house during my externship which was a huge help coming from an out-of-state school. At this clinic, the entire staff treated me like a doctor and allowed me to learn in such an accepting environment. I was able to manage patients as the lead doctor and given the time to think through cases as I needed. I was also given my own portion of the schedule each day to learn how to go through scheduled appointments, drop offs, and surgeries. In surgery I was able to perform spays and neuters on animals from a local rescue and laceration repairs on a few animals that needed it. CLVC also has an added physical therapy component (my favorite part) which allowed me to think of treatment plans for orthopedic issues outside of the normal rest/NSAIDs/surgery regime. I was also given the unusual circumstance of managing a patient that was surrendered to the clinic. He was a feral cat with an abscessed foot that resulted in through and through puncture wounds, torn tendons in the paws, and limited mobility. I was able to treat him with both medications and physical therapy (shockwave therapy, laser therapy, stem gel, water therapy) to help him heal his paw. Everyone at this clinic was very willing to teach me what they knew and listen to any ideas I had on how to treat a patient. The staff at this clinic is incredible and it shows. They are a very efficient team and will cater your externship to YOUR goals. I believe this externship was the best thing I could have done for my confidence as a vet and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to go into general practice!
As a fourth year vet student, I found the time I spent at CLVC to be super valuable. The staff were encouraging and helpful, and I got a lot of hands on practice. I gained a lot of surgical experience and got to interact with clients firsthand. I’d recommend an externship here!
During my fourth year of vet school, I had the pleasure of spending 2 weeks at County Line for an externship. The staff was so welcoming and helpful, they immediately calmed my nerves and made me feel included. Dr. Fowler as well as the associate veterinarians were happy to answer questions and fostered learning through doing. I was able to get valuable clinical experience such as scrubbing in on a bladder stone removal, performing an aural hematoma surgery, and canine neuter while under their encouraging guidance. I was also able to participate in the day to day of client education, physical examinations and interpreting diagnostics. Definitely a great place to externship to foster putting all that knowledge into clinical practice!
Have used this clinic for years, won’t trust any one else with our animals
Our German Shepherd wasn’t supposed to live to be six months old. (He will be ten years old in April). Because of his heart problems, we did not socialize him so he does not like anyone other than immediate family. Dr. Fowler has been treating him for the two years we have lived here. With her patience and expertise, she has been able to examine and treat him in the “red room”. We can’t say enough good things about her and County Line. She helps take the stress out of the visits for our fur baby.
I've always had amazing experiences here with all of my pets-great vets and staff, but I took my cat Hogarth in today and I get nervous because he is a bit of a wild card. The tech we had today was amazing! She took great care of Hogarth and explained everything to me. I wish I remembered her name, but 10/10 recommend this clinic for your fur babies! They even have an app you can use which makes communication with their treatment team so easy.
The staff was super nice but I did have to wait like 30 minutes for the vet tech to come in but the veterinarian showed up very quickly and answered all my questions and was super helpful. Since I was a new patient I had to pay $65 instead of 25 but that goes towards whatever you need for that visit. The medication they gave me was only like $12 so it’s pretty cheap. One of the best part is that they separate the dogs and the cats!
Truly exceptional customer service! When another Veterinarian’s office in town refused me services for my sick pet, I called County Line Veterinary Clinic. Dealing with a sick pet can be extremely stressful, but this clinic provided urgent care with flawless execution. From the moment I walked in the door until I returned for pick-up I was confident my pet would receive exceptional care. They we’re completely transparent about the cost of services from assessment to treatment and their prices were very reasonable. They have won my continued business and I will be transferring health records for my other pets to this clinic.
Very efficient clinic with a great professional staff all the way from the front desk, the techs and the veterinarians. Nothing but positive experiences after several visits. Very happy yo have found County Line for my aging dog.
My dog actually loves going to County Line Vet Clinic! Even though she's not a fan of nail trims, my dog marches in like she owns the place because the vets and vet techs always treat her so well. We are very satisfied customers for 6 years and counting.
They're great at getting prescriptions filled quickly and they're so friendly on the phone! We've seen a few different vets at this clinic for our two dogs and they've been great every time.
From the moment me and my pup walked in, the staff was extremely welcoming. I found my favorite vet tech, who understood the needs of my dog. The vet was knowledgeable, friendly, and patiently answered all my questions. Highly recommend!
If you are looking for a place where you and your pet feel welcome, this is the place for you! Very friendly staff and stress free environment! All my pets needs are met and explained very well. Our Veterinarian, Dr. Martin is very friendly and professional. I am so glad to have her as our doctor. As a first time dog owner, it is important to me to have a group of caring people willing to educate and help us grow together!
Infinite Paws is well run and is excellent in the caring of Rehab dog patients.
