Dr. Allie Hughey was born and raised in Houston, Texas. She earned both her Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University. After graduating, while her husband was finishing his DVM degree, she spent 3 years practicing small animal medicine in Amarillo, Texas. She is passionate about providing compassionate, high-quality care to pets while building trusting relationships with their families.
Dr. Hughey enjoys all aspects of general practice, with particular interests in dentistry, internal medicine, surgery, preventive medicine, and helping pets and their families live healthier, happier lives. She also values client education and takes the time to ensure owners feel comfortable and confident in their pets’ care.
Dr. Hughey is excited to serve the local community and get to know the families and pets who walk through the County Line Veterinary Clinic’s doors. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her husband, their daughter, and their two dogs. She also loves being outdoors, baking, traveling, and making the most of time with family and friends.
